Office Manager and Billing
Jessica is our multi-talented office manager. With years of experience managing a variety of offices, Jess provides the staff at Klamath Spine with excellent leadership and support. She also works with patients and insurance companies to make sure the billing aspect of care runs smoothly, and her perceptive and empathetic persona make our patients feel comfortable as they navigate the billing process. She has a bachelor's of science degree in applied psychology and an associate's of science with a focus in biology among other certifications. She is a self-styled "forever student" and uses her knowledge in areas like psychology and functional medicine to bring a unique approach to care in our office. She is passionate about treating the root cause of your problem, not just covering it up, and her goal is to make her employees and patients feel empowered while fostering an environment of happiness and healing.
Jess grew up mostly in Klamath Falls, but has also lived in Beaverton, Ashland, and Albany. She enjoys photography, gardening, spending time with her family including two lovely daughters, and taking advantage of all this beautiful area has to offer.
Tasha is not only the cheerful face of our front office, but a team player efficiently running things behind the scenes. From coordinating the assembly of our new LED sign out front, communicating with staff throughout the day on scheduling, and leading our daily team meetings, Tasha's efficiency, professionalism and positivity help to make our office run smoothly and our patients feel welcome.
Tasha grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah. She graduated from Klamath Community College in 2013 with an associates of science degree. She enjoys shopping and hanging out with her two children, and is a great cook!
Steve is the second friendly face you will see in the front office. Although originally from Alaska, he grew up in Klamath Falls and joined the Klamath Spine team in June of 2018. Steve will be the person to introduce your to our practice and work with you before seeing the doctor. He is a natural at making our patients feel welcome, and always has a smile and a dad joke to tell.
Steve stays busy working out, playing golf, and spending time with his daughters. Not only that, but he spent the past 12 summers fighting fires!
Maria is the rock star in the back. You will see her for therapies such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and laser. Maria has long been in the business of serving people, and for the past two years her big heart and bright spirit have been making patients feel comfortable and cared for here at Klamath Spine.
Maria grew up in the bay area but has been in Klamath Falls since 1994. She loves spending time with her fiancé Terry and the rest of her family. She is also a music whiz and loves animals, especially her cat Ritchie.
Rehab Assistant, Athletic Trainer
Nicole leads our rehab department. She graduated in 2015 from Oregon State University with a bachelor's degree in athletic training and received her master's in athletic training from the University of Hawaii Mānoa two years later. She is a Klamath Falls native and has been at Klamath Spine since summer of 2018, but before returning home she has used her sports medicine degree to serve people from all walks of life, not just athletes. She is passionate about providing individualized care to all of our patients.
Nicole enjoys photography, chasing sunsets, trail running around Klamath's many beautiful hills, rock climbing, and playing with her blue heeler, Piper.
Got aches and pains? See Brooke. Brooke is our in-house massage therapist. She studied massage at the Massage Training Institute in Bakersfield in 1994 and has been active in her trade ever since, with emphases in both deep tissue and Swedish massage. Brooke has worked for chiropractors for over 18 years, and has been with Dr. Mah since he opened his practice in 2016. Her goal is to help you achieve relief from pain and tension. She will listen to your needs and adapt her style depending on your individual conditions and complaints.
Brooke enjoys spending time with her twin boys, party planning, hiking, and chasing Oregon's beautiful waterfalls.
We now have double the massage capacity here at Klamath Spine! Welcome Karla, our newest chiropractic assistant and massage specialist.
Karla grew up in Hermiston, Oregon and has been here in Klamath with her husband for about two years. Prior to starting massage therapy Karla gained her experience in patient care working as a physical therapy aide and certified medical assistant. She enjoys watching movies, listening to music, working out, and taking long walks with her husband.
Jimmy and Bella are mini schnauzers and our beloved office companions. They'll be around to greet you and perhaps keep you company as you wait for a room or treatment.
